Improving Lives by Improving Brain Function

LET’S SAVE MORE LIVES Brain Screenings is the brainchild of Dr. Clint Steele, a visionary in the field of brain health and function.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Steele has helped people from all walks of life enhance their health and well-being by focusing on the root cause of most health issues—poor brain function.

Why Brain Function is the Key?

Your brain coordinates every function in your body. It does this through a three-step process:

1
Perceiving your surroundings at any given moment.
2
Processing the information received.
3
Sending signals to the body to react and adapt accordingly.

If, for any reason, the brain struggles with one or more of these steps, it leads to dysfunction, which eventually results in illness and disease.

National Institute of Health (NIH)

According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), over 90% of illnesses are linked to poor brain function—or more specifically, the brain's inability to adapt to and recover from stress. When the brain cannot properly process stress, it negatively impacts:

  • The Immune system
  • Digestive function
  • Hormonal balance
  • Cognitive performance
  • Mental health
  • Cardiovascular health
  • Reproductive health
  • Overall well-being
  • And so much more...

How Our Brain Screening Works?

To better understand the brain’s role in health, Dr. Steele utilizes a one of a kind state of the art proven testing system that evaluates how well your brain functions under stress.

Using a cutting-edge technology called the NeuroInfiniti, he measures brain activity through a test known as the Stress Response Evaluation (SRE).

The 12-minute, pain-free, non-invasive test evaluates, 7 Areas of Human Function during 4 types of stress and recovery, these 7 areas include:

What Happens During Your Test?

Before the Test:

  1. Arrival & Preparation:
Once you arrive for your test, you will be seated in a comfortable chair. You will be asked to turn off your cell phone, remove your watch, and take out any jewelry in your ears. You will remain completely dressed throughout the procedure.

  2. Setup for Measurement:
A respiration belt will be placed around your stomach. Once seated, several leads will be attached to your body. These include a heart rate monitor on your hand, two skin conductance monitors to your hand, a finger temperature sensor, and leads on your trap muscles, which may require pulling your shirt or blouse aside slightly to ensure proper placement on your skin. These leads will measure your muscle tension. Finally, a lead will be placed on each ear and one on top of your head to measure your brain waves.

  3. Test Preparation:
Before beginning the test, we will perform a short test to ensure all the leads are reading properly.

During the Test - The 12-Minute Test:

  1. Baseline Test:
Sit relaxed with eyes open. After a few minutes, you’ll be asked to close your eyes and relax.

  2. Basic Math Test:

  3. Sound Test:
You’ll listen to sounds. Then, you’ll have another relaxation period with your eyes closed.

  4. Breathing Test:
You’ll spend 3 minutes breathing slowly.Afterward, you’ll be asked to close your eyes and breathe regularly.

After the Test:

  • Results:
We will analyze your results to determine how well your brain is functioning and identify the best practices needed to reverse any issues.
